Professional Experience:

Freelance since June 2000.

Technical Adviser responsible for the areas of environment, energy efficiency, construction and facilities in the technical department of the Official College of Architects in Balearic Islands (COAIB) since June 2004.

He has remained in lifelong learning and assisted to all kinds of technical seminars and courses convened by the Official College of Architects or the Higher Council to ensure the degree of knowledge required in all kinds of technical building infrastructure, an indispensable condition for the development of his work as a third-grade adviser technician.

Secretary of Architects without borders in Balearic Islands. Collaboration in various projects of the organization since 1995.

Visiting professor in Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy. Applications in buildings. International University of Andalusia. Santa Maria de La Rabida (2003-2011).

Professor of sustainable architecture and advanced facilities at University Antonio de Nebrija y Camilo José Cela respectively during the course 2010/2011.

Visiting professor in VI Master’s Degree in Renewable Energy to teach the module of bioclimatic architecture. ESPE. Quito. Ecuador (2011-2013)

Court of doctoral thesis “present on past: relationships between architectures” ETSAB, UPC Barcelona (2014)

Between October 2014 and October 2016 works as a researcher at the University of the armed forces (ESPE) within the Department of engineering mechanics and energy integrated into the renewable energy research group. Quito, Ecuador.

Currently he is in charge of the investigation of the COAIB referred to monitoring of the public housing stock by the IBAVI (Instituto Balear de la Vivienda) for the implementation of energy efficiency strategies (2017-2018).

1st Prize for the competition promoted by the IBAVI (Balearic Social Living Institute) for the design and construction of 40 social elderly houses (2001).

 

Research Fellowship awarded by the official College of architects of the Balearic Islands for the study of energy and efficiency in buildings. (2003-2004).

1st Prize for  the competition promoted by the IBISEC (Balearic Institute of Infrastructure, educational and cultural services) for the design and construction of a new building  for preschool and primary education of Inca (2004).

1st Prize for the competition promoted by the IBISEC for the design and construction of a high school building in Sant Antoni. Ibiza (2005).

Technological innovation prize promoted by the Balearic government (2006) for his work related to energy efficiency.

Architecture of Mallorca prize promoted by the Balearic government (2007) for his work on bioclimatic architecture.

Fellowship by the Balearic Government to study and monitoring solar collection strategies implemented in single-family housing.

1st Prize for the contest sponsored by the city of Palma de Mallorca for the design and construction of the “Center of interpretation of Palma’s old town” (2007)

3º Prize for the contest sponsored by the city of Palma de Mallorca for the reform of the old buildings “La Petrolera” (2006).

He was part of the 4 Spanish teams selected by the Housing Ministry to participate in the International Initiative for Sustainable Building Environment 2007-2008, SBTOOL Melbourne (2008).

Ciutat de Palma “Guillem Sagrera” Architecture First Prize 2006 / 2007 (2008) by building 38 bioclimatic houses.

Environment and Research Award promoted by Mallorca Island Council  (2008) for his work on energy efficiency.

2º Prize fin the competition for the construction of a day-care centre promoted by Social-sanitary Consortium. Balearic Islands government. (2009).
